October 13th- Art in Odd Places
The Art in Odd Places festival focused on projects by women in unexpected places on 14th Street. You would walk down streets and find different visuals and performance art that led to an exhibit that showed all of the different pieces by women that focused on women. These pieces were done by female identifying and non-binary artists that wanted to get their message out about women's rights and how they feel about their rights. They portray the lives of women and how hard it is to be a woman in today's day and age.
A woman protects her femininity like a rose shielded in a glass dome. A woman is strong but fragile. She is confident in her skin.
